Kassie’s Mum
Nakeba is a graduate of Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a dynamic and a versatile actress who has had a great year. Last year’s work included three British feature films one with "Fifty Cent". She also played the lead in a remake of The Victoria Climbe Trial (feature film)

Miss Portia
Liz trained at the Birmingham School of Acting. Theatre credits include: Raina in Arms and the Man (Michael Friend Productions/National Tour), Marianne in The Miser (National Tour), Gerda in When Worlds Collide (Riding Lights Theatre Company), Ruth in A Carpet Of Broken Glass (Riverside Studios), Lula in The Dutchman (Arcola Theatre), Old Women in Scenes From Bond (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island (Flying Pizza Theatre Company). TV credits include: Debbie Granger in Down To Earth (BBC). Liz has also worked within radio, not only using her skills as a voiceover artist but as a live broadcaster for several stations. She is thrilled to be working with Intermission Theatre on this project.

Janine Gillion
Caesar’s Mum
Janine has always combined her work as a professional actor with teaching. She has been a part of Intermission since its birth and for the last two years has held the role of ‘Missioner to the arts’. Her work alongside Darren Raymond with ‘Intermission Theatre’ theatre company and our ‘Youth Theatre’ is a real passion in her life and her respect and love for these young performers is immense. Janine has been asked to perform in various productions creating characters as diverse as pantomime fairies, a vicar’s wife, a dying widow, a menopausal Lancastrian, a forty year old virgin and prison guard in Prison Wings.

Joanne Sandi
Cinna
Joanne is an actress, dancer and singer with various film, theatre and TV rolls to her credit; and starred as a receptionist in the 2007 Boots Christmas Campaign. She also features in the film Mamma Mia as part of the ensemble. Joanne has a love of the theatre be it as a cast member, (such as the lead in Homeward Bound directed by Eammon Walker) or behind the scenes, and has thoroughly enjoyed honing her skills as assistant on Intermission’s previous shows Prison Wings, Cracking the Whip, and The Visit. Be it chewing her way to the top as Cindy in the Wrigleys ad for Hollyoaks or dancing to a backdrop of ABBA hits in the hit blockbuster movie Mama Mia, she was also part of the documentary feature film What about Melvin which won this years best new comer at the BAFTA Screen Nation Awards. This bright young star is one to watch in 2009.

Fabian Spencer
Germaine
Fabian is a 2004 Graduate of LSW Dream Factory and made his first professional appearance in the national tour of Blacking Iago as Iago which was filmed by the BBC. Other Theatre credits include Tom Molineaux the slave who won his freedom through prize fighting in Black Atlas, William Poel festival at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, Angelo in Will I Survive? at the Ledbury Poetry Festiival, the voice in Lifting The Mask, the gunman, President, in Karma at The Tricycle Theatre, the angel in Prison Wings at The Albany and a variety of roles in the 2008 Totus Mundus season of King Lear at the Globe. Fabian has just finished playing Walcott and Big George in The Gates of Gaza at the Birmingham Rep and on the national tour.
