John Adewole
Hector
Samuel
John came to Britain from West Africa in 1967 and studied Theatre Arts at Dartington College.

His theatre work includes productions at the National Theatre, The Lyceum Edinburgh, The Almeida, The Belgrade, Coventry, The Old Vic, Birmingham Rep and The Gate.

Film and television appearances include Ultimate Force, Ali G, Escape from Kampala and the BBC3 comedy series Little Miss Jocelyn.

John has established himself as a formidable storyteller spinning African and Caribbean yarns through the Zuriya Theatre Company a collective of storytellers who perform in schools, youth clubs and hard-to-find venues!

Recently John has expanded his work to include performances for folks in prisong and in old people's homes.

Although John can strum on the guitar his real forte is as a drummer. He plays the congas, kabassa and djembe.


Darren Raymond
Donovan
A graduate of London Shakespeare Workout, Darren has studied with such legendary personages as Janet Suzman, Lynn Farleigh, Mark Rylance, Philip Voss and Cicely Berry.

His professional engagements include; Emilio in Shakespeare 'n Sinatra (An original take on The Winter's Tale) Othello in both a UK tour and a BBC2 presentation.

Most recently Darren appeared in Karma at the Tricycle Theatre and as William Richmond in a national tour of Black Atlas.

He has also appeared in Shakespeare in Love and A Winter's Miscellany at the National Portrait Gallery.

He made his West End debut as part of the William Poel Festival at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and played a wide diversity of roles in Will I Survive? with special guest Harriet Walter at the Ledbury Poetry Festival.

Appearing in Peter and the Wolf with the Concordia Music Foundation, Darren went onto receive the Serena Neville Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts in December '06.

Louise is from Liverpool but has been based in London since her training at East 15 Acting School. Her theatre credits include Linda in Stags and Hens at The Royal Court Liverpool, Candice in Karma at The Tricycle, Cleopatra in Will I Survive? LSW London and Ferdinand in The Tempest The Brockley Jack.

Her film credits include Claire in Exploits EKF Productions and Donna in Miscolourstandings BroedMachine.

She has recently returned from touring Italy as Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream and previously Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing with Erasmus Theatre Company and will be performing at the Kingshead and Edinburgh fringe festival later this year in The Absinthe Monologues.

Over the years Peter has also acted in various other rehearsed play readings and short films. As well as being an actor, Peter is also a writer. In 2004, he wrote his debut play The Fighter. The play has recently been adapted for feature film production. As writer of the project, and actor within the project, he will be developing the screenplay alongside November Films, who, based at Ealing Studios, will be producing and directing the feature adaptation. Shola trained at the Academy Drama School. TV credits include: Switch, My Hero, Little Miss Jocelyn, The Bill, Family Affairs, Bad Girls, Casualty, several commercials and radio. Film: London and F****ing Hell. Theatre credits, Girls Talk at Soho Theatre, voice of Big African Mama in Crazyblackmuthaf***ingself at The Royal Court, Who Wants to be the Disco King? at Edinburgh, Charmian in Anthony & Cleopatra at The Tabard Theatre.

Shola also writes, her play Pretty Little White Girls, a thriller about warring siblings, featured in the Lost Theatre’s 2006 One Act Festival.


Sarah Bird

Sarah studied at Cambridge from 2002-2005. Credits at University include Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Salome, The Love of The Nightingale, Six Degrees of Separation, Lear, The Hot Mikado, and Songs For a New World. Since leaving she performed at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival in Dic Edwards premier production Astrakhan Winter, with the Concordia Foundation in Shakespeare and Love at the National Portrait Gallery and most recently played the role of Pattie in Dennis Potter's Brimstone and Treacle with the Tower Theatre Company. Sarah sings jazz and has performed at the Guildhall as well as at local venues in the London area.

Hollie St. Clair-Charles is a 23 year old, up and coming singer, songwriter and actress.

Hollie has truly embraced her love of performing, and in the past, she has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, The Bull Theatre and The Arcola Theatre. In 2005, she appeared as an extra in ITV1‚s The Bill.

Having achieved a BTEC National Diploma in performing arts, Hollie went on to university to study Performing Arts in The Community. This gave her the opportunity to devise her own scripts and work in schools around East London, presenting T.I.E workshops on youth crime.

Hollie completed her final year at University in 2006, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree, and has since been working on her music, going by the name H20.
