Michael Mayne
Bishop
This is my 1st production with Intermission Theatre and I look forward to experiencing the unique
theatrical event that the Bishop’s Candlesticks offers.
I have played a variety or parts from a 6 year old in BLUE REMEMBERED HILLS to Shylock in MERCHANT OF
VENICE over the course of the last few years but I know Bishop will be a memorable character.
My most recent credits include Directorial: THE KITCHEN (Network), COLD COMFORT FARM (Wandsworth
Arts Festival), LYSASTRATA (Network and Prague Festival), NOT ABOUT HEROES (Network and Edinburgh
Festival). Acting: MERCHANT OF VENICE, HUIS CLOS, PRISON WINGS, FAMILY AFFAIRS, BLUE REMEMBERED
HILLS, SUBURBAN SPACEMAN.
I was a professional actor up to the age of 27 with stage, film and TV credits and with a dark
secret from my past. Let you try and guess that one. Think confectionery.

Érin Geraghty
PA
Érin's career began in the dark ages as a child dancer in a film with Julie Andrews. Since
then, she has graced screens, large and small - including three years nursing in ANGELS; as an
old crone in KNIGHTMARE; she flirted with David Essex in THAT'LL BE THE DAY; and was spray
tanned in NIGHTY NIGHT. Érin is due to be seen in LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE, the only tv series
in which she can still play the juvenile lead! Érin has trod the boards from Rep to Fringe to
West End, to Australia and North America (where she was voted BEST FEMALE PERFORMER – and
nominated again the next year!) Recent roles include a lowlife druggie; an American obsessive
Mother; a French aristocratic murderess; and a rich bitch! For the really keen:
